Frequently Asked Questions

How do I make a booking with Berlin Experiences?

First, have a look through our collection of Classic & Culture tours and see what you are interested in. You can use the contact form at the bottom of every page on this site to send us a request with your details and preferences (just fill in the form and tick the boxes that apply to you). We will then contact you within 24 hours to arrange the specifics and provide you with an offer (this means what exactly the tour will be, how long and how much). We will then arrange payment, either in advance with secure bank transfer/credit card/Paypal, or you may be able to pay the guide on the day of the tour.

How much do you charge for your tours?

We only work with the best professional tour guides in Berlin, all have years of experience and dedication to their work. All are members of the Bündnis Berliner Stadtführer guides association, an organisation known throughout the city for its pride in guiding excellence. For this we price our tours accordingly, ranging between 40€ and 100€ per hour, depending on group size, tour type and special requests. Our Premium tours also include transportation costs, which vary according to group size and preferred mode of transport. As each of our tours is personally tailored to fit your needs and interests, we suggest sending an email via our (contact page) with all relevant information and we can draw up an offer.

What is your cancellation policy?

In the event you need to cancel your booking with us, we ask for at least 48 hours notice.

What is your refund policy?

If you have paid for your booking in advance, we will refund the total amount (minus any transaction fees) if we receive an email cancellation request at least 48 hours before the tour. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the tour date are not eligible for refunds.

Do your tours include time for lunch/coffee breaks?

Our Standard tours are designed to allow time for a short coffee/snack stop. Due to the duration of our Premium tours we suggest including time for a longer lunch/dinner break.

Do we need public transportation for the tours?

Our Premium tours are all conducted with fully air-conditioned premium cars/vans (usually high end Mercedez Benz or Volkswagen). Our Standard tours are designed for guests who prefer to walk but use of public transportation may also necessary depending on the sites included in the tour. Public transportation costs are not included in our Standard tours, but in the event that you need tickets we are more than happy to arrange the particulars.

Are all the suggested buy glucophage tablets sights listed in your tours covered on every tour?

The suggested sights listed in our Classic and Culture tours are a general guide to what may be covered when booking those particular tours. We appreciate that every guest is different and approaches the city with different expectations and interests and tailor our tours accordingly. If you find something in particular listed in the suggested sights that interests you more than something else then please do refer to this when contacting us so we can arrange your day accordingly.

Are your tours available all year round?

Yes, we also offer reduced seasonal rates for our tours.

Are your tours wheel chair accessible?

Berlin is a relatively flat city and the streets are easy to navigate. Despite being the German capital, Berlin is also not nearly as busy as other cities of a similar calibre. All this means that touring can be relatively stress-free. We strive to make Berlin accessible to everyone, all we ask you to bring is a healthy curiosity. If you have any special requests, don’t hestitate to ask.

Is there anything that I should bring for the tour?

Of course this depends on the time of the year – a hat and gloves in the winter, sunglasses in the summer. Please do check the weather before your trip, summers in Berlin can be rather hot (suntan lotion is a must) and the winters can be cold (don’t forget a coat). We always try to make sure our guests stay hydrated on tours, whether that’s coffee or tea, but a bottle of water is always a worthy travel companion.

Are your tours suitable for children?

We cater for guests of all ages and can tailor all our tours accordingly.

Can I bring my pet with me?

That depends on what sort of animal we are talking about. Dogs seem to love the fresh air and walking. Cats have a habit of wandering off on their own.

Is it usual to tip the guide?

Gratuities are completely discretionary but always gratefully received. Our guides will always work hard for you and tipping is a great way of them receiving immediate feedback.

Can you recommend some places to stay/eat/party in Berlin?

All of our guides are Berlin residents and have lived in the city for years, they are all well versed in letting their stomach lead the way to some of the best spots in the city. When touring in Berlin, feel free to quiz our guides about everything. If you need advice on where to stay or things to see/do before or after your tours please do send us an email.
